Welcome to my portfolio website. My intention is to let future clients, and hopefully future fans know a little bit more about me and my work.
I was born in California, but stayed for two weeks, I’ve been an Oregon baby ever since, and I can’t imagine ever leaving this lush green state. After summers of creek-diving, tree-climbing and gardening with my parents, the rigors of high school took my full attention and I threw myself into my education.
One of the most educational aspects in high school for me was my first supervisory position in high school as the Editor-In-Chief of the Lion’s Roar. This was one of the largest and quickest learning curves I’ve ever had, and it prepared me for college in ways I didn’t expect.
College was a delight, Portland State University is a wonderful school with not only the typical ‘college’ life, but a diverse commuter population that makes the campus vibrant. I spearheaded two different publications while attending, The Portland Spectator and The Vanguard. It was an honor to serve the school in that capacity.
Since graduation, I’ve taken the time to recuperate from the fast-paced daily newspaper life, and am freelancing as work comes to me. I enjoy new projects and new clients, and the challenges and solutions we find.
